My recent stay at a charming hotel in a small country town was absolutely delightful. The character rooms were tidy and well-preserved, giving it an old-world charm. The highlight was definitely the fantastic little bar where I enjoyed a few beers before dinner. Speaking of dinner, the meals were outstanding, especially the perfectly cooked roast pork. The hotel also offered great value with their affordable rates and recently refitted rooms. The largest showers I've seen in France were an added bonus. The restaurant offered a unique and delicious dining experience. The flowered garden and shaded terrace were lovely. The hotel was a great base for exploring or relaxing with its outdoor pool, tennis courts, and garden.

Ah, what a shame the swimming pool wasn't working. How disappointing!
